About ThaiMassageGuide

ThaiMassageGuiden ("TMG") started as an interesting idea sometime between July and September 2008, inspired by back pain and the frustration that existing search engines are inadequate when it comes to specific niche markets.

When we first launched the website, it was incredibly difficult to find a Thai massage parlor at all, even though there were already quite a few of them back in 2008. The parlors were usually not listed on Eniro or Hitta.se, they didn't have their own websites, and you couldn't find any information about them other than in newspaper ads in Stockholm City and Metro. It was practically impossible to find out prices, opening hours, or how to get there.

TMG was created to ensure that this very information was easily accessible and clearly presented.

We'd like to point out that TMG has always been and always will be a free service, and no nuad Thai massage parlors pay to have a listing with us.

We have no affiliation with any parlor, and we evaluate them all equally and fairly, which makes us completely impartial.

However, parlors that wish to do so can purchase our extended advertising services, and parlors that buy our advertising services can get the following:

• They can appear in graphic ad spaces located at the top and on the right side of ThaiMassageGuiden
• They can appear at the top in a different color when various parlors are listed, on the front page of the Thai massage directory, and at the top of search results on the website, known as sponsored placement

But here's what they always get for free, regardless:

• The business's photo is shown in the listing
• All details are visible, including address, prices, phone number, email, website, opening hours, map, and detailed information
• New parlors are added as soon as we discover them
• We don't remove reviews in exchange for payment or at the demand of owners (however, they may be removed if we suspect or find evidence of misconduct)
• Information is updated continuously, and we always strive to provide the most accurate information possible
• Owners can update their own business information after being added as the owner of the listing.
• All parlors can be reviewed and rated by members

ThaiMassageGuiden launched on October 16, 2008, and was the only website of its kind within Thai massage until 2011.
